Locations around Crystal Angeles
The city of Crystal Angeles is a sprawling community of modern day buildings and a various collection of American, south American and Japanese architecture. The original City was roughly the shape of a five point star with five distinct districts and in the center, a beautiful Emerald Spire. Over time the boundaries of the city have drifted away from the five point star, and the actual positions of the crystal points at each of the five points have been forgotten. The Districts, while not being exact, still in general make up various neighborhoods around the city.

The Center of the City
The Emerald SpireThe Emerald Spire, and a collection of nine small crystal spikes in various colors, is in the heart of the city. The Emerald spire is roughly 90 stories tall, and quite obvious to the naked eye. It’s opaque crystal, but inside the crystal you can see a somewhat mountain like creation with a path that winds to a flattened top. A palace can be seen from those who fly in helicopters with gardens that wind neatly around the pathway that leads to the front door. Over 200 years ago, people were invited into the palace and the gardens once a year to meet the royal family and request miracles.
For roughly 200 years, the palace’s crystal protection has not open to allow visitors. Anyone who attempts to scale the crystal found it incredibly smooth and unable purchase. Attempts to do damage to the Crystal have so far resulted in nothing more than broken tools.
Hollywood or Top of the Star
The Millennium ArcadeOwned and operated by Eirene Bader, the Millennium Arcade caters to the youth and the young at heart. There is a cafe located in the back that sometimes is visited by young business people that serves good quality but somewhat inexpensive food during the lunch hour. During the afternoon and into the later hours of evening, the Millennium Arcade provides refreshment and a safe place to hang out with one's friends. There are rent-able Karoke rooms that sometimes double as study rooms. The Cafe also acts as a temporary study hall around finals.
This fine establishmenet has only been recently rennovated and brought to it's current state of existance after much construction. The first floor, pictured above, shows the relative location of all the various rooms and services provided by the arcade and it's staff.
Duly note the door near the bathrooms that leads to the offices and the stair way reads "Employee's Only" and is locked. Further, the pink star in Karaoke room 2 is a secret stair well that leads down to the Moon Cave. This is unlocked only with prior knowledge (it is magically sealed.)
The red lines are doors that lead to the street. The pink line is a secret exit as well. The Sailor Moon game has been particularly marked for those interested. The Moon Cave / Central CommandLocated under a secret passage way in the Millennium Arcade... Very roughly imaged below The Moon Cave contains computer terminals, a large smart board/ TV screen that can show anything from a computer or the smart board itself. The Mad House (Club 18+)The Mad House is an 18+ Club, which puts a stamp on the inside wrist of those who can drink. Bouncers man the double door entrance of the Mad House, where an Alice in Wonderland theme is readily apparent. Not the Disney version of alice in wonderland, but the darker, scarier tales that lurk with momgrabs and jaberwoks. Large plushy feeling mushrooms (they are fabric, not really mushrooms) make up much of the seating around the large, ware-house esk club. A second story provides balcony watching and dining. There is a small VIP third floor, which also contains the Dj Booth.
The Mad House is open nightly at 7:00 pm and goes until 2:00 am.Theia's Arms (Hotel)Theia's Arm's is an extended living hotel that caters to college students and would be actresses and actors seeking out Hollywood fame. Aki serves as the last standing priestess of the ancient religion that was once on Mars- or so she claims. The majority of the people who follow the religion are as old as the priestess, though there a few young children who follow it for the hope it gives them. His noodles are always served in hand carved wooden bowls with wooden spoons of different designs, or for those who are authentic, chopsticks. A small shop next to his sells similar bowls, spoons, chopsticks and other small wooden widdled creations. The City Itself
The WaterworksA small town about 40 miles north that is the heart of the water purifying for Crystal Angeles. While it's not strictly needed, in the early days this little outpost was required. Over years technology solved much of the water problems for Crystal Angeles, but the community that had been built in the town remained. Now it's more of a science oriented commune of people who work to bring about technological advances-- and do so where sensitive equipment and magical shenanigans are less likely to be negatively impacted. They have a small crystal at the center of their town that pulses out a mirror pulse to the Emerald Spire that keeps the youma out of the city. But everyone who lives there understands that living there comes with a great risk. The Mountains of AngelesThe Mountains of Angeles surround the majority of the east side of the city, rolling foothills that lead up into the mountains. the Griffith Observatory is located up in these very foothills/mountains. The road to the observatory is clearly marked with little emerald shards that flicker and pulse, keeping the road and those on it safe from Youma attacks... drifting away from the road does bring on a certain... danger... that some thrill seekers find hard to resist.
The BeachSheltered in a small inlet, the local Beach that's not occupied by dangerous youma or boats can hold about 2-3 thousand before it's considered... crowded... the sands are a pale yellow and the sea churns quietly in a dark, chilly blue. The water averages about 50-60 degrees.Additional Location Opening SoonAdditional Locations will open with players characters and other plot linesAdditional Location Opening SoonAdditional Locations will open with players characters and other plot linesAdditional Location Opening SoonAdditional Locations will open with players characters and other plot lines
